Final performances for the Sydney season have been released for the Tony®, Olivier®, and Grammy® award-winning production THE BOOK OF MORMON which must close 25 January 2026.

Winner of nine Tony Awards® including Best Musical and the Grammy® for Best Musical Theatre album, THE BOOK OF MORMON premiered at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney in July and will transfer to Melbourne’s Princess Theatre from February 2026.

The Sydney Morning Herald said that the “Mormon’s second coming is a blasphemous delight” while The Plus Ones said that it has the “best-written opening number in musical theatre history” and The Scoop said that “THE BOOK OF MORMON is funniest, filthiest and most gloriously fearless musical ever to hit the Australian stage”.

The cast includes Sean Johnston (Hairspray) as Elder Price, Nick Cox (Beauty and the Beast) as Elder Cunningham, Paris Leveque whoismaking her professional debut as Nabulungi, Tom Struik (Sister Act the Musical) as Elder McKinley, Simbarashe Matshe  (Filthy Business) as Mafala Hatimbi, Augie Tchantcho who is reprising his rolein THE BOOK OF MORMON as The General and Matthew Hamilton (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical) as Mission President.
